We were so lucky to get to chat with Melanie Meren on Halloween about her background and what she thinks is best for kids when it comes to our public schools! (hint, hint - she's for strong communities, just like we are at Common Ground!)
Melanie is running for the Fairfax County School Board, Hunter Mill District seat in November 2019. While she did share her back ground (education policy, and as a current elementary school parent), her comments in this episode are largely non-partisan and amazingly insightful! We will definitely have her on the show again in the future!
